Welcome to the 2003 AIA/LA
Awards web site!

Each year the American Institute of Architects/Los Angeles recognizes significant achievements in local architecture at our Awards Gala, held this year at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion downtown.

The winning projects represent the cutting edge in contemporary architecture, interior design and historic restoration, selected by a distinguished jury of local and internationally known architects. Projects may be built, unbuilt or theoretical, and must be either located in the Los Angeles area or designed by a Los Angeles area firm.

On the left is a slideshow of projects that received awards. Click on any image to see all the information on that project. You may also follow a quick link to any project that received an award by using the pull-down menu at the bottom of this page. Or finally, you can browse by category in the main menu.
