2009 AIA/LA ARE Seminar Series

Each year, the AIA/Los Angeles offers a seminar series to help candidates get ready for the licensing exam given by the California Architects Board. One seminar is dedicated to each of the 9 sections of the ARE (Building Planning, Building Technology, Construction Documents & Services, General Structures, Lateral Forces, Building Design/Materials & Methods, Mechanical & Electrical Systems, Pre-Design and Site Planning) and there are 3 annual California Supplemental Oral Exam Prep Classes. Seminars are led by AIA members who bring their years of knowledge and experience to an informative review session that helps candidates to become familiar with the basic material covered in each section of the exam.
