Dear Prospective International Associate Member:

Individuals who are licensed to practice architecture in a country other than the US are eligible to become International Associate AIA members and use the "Int'l Assoc. AIA" credential.

Currently we’re offering you the chance to sign up for 2009 and get the last three months of 2008 membership free of charge! Your dues of $341.00 cover membership at all three levels (national, state and local), effective October 1, 2008 through December 31, 2009.*

Attend the National AIA Convention for Free! All first-time AIA and Associate AIA members who join the AIA between May 18, 2008 and May 2, 2009 are invited to attend the 2009 AIA National Convention & Design Expo in San Francisco, April 30–May 2, 2009, free of charge.

Keeping you up to date with changes that affect you, your livelihood, and how you practice architecture, AIA provides a voice for the architectural professional that reaches every level of government. AIA members may also join any of the many Knowledge Communities. These interest areas provide access to in-depth information, services, knowledge, and career needs for your particular area of practice.

1. A check for $341.00*, payable to AIA (this covers your National, State and Local AIA dues from now through Dec. 31, 2009), or MasterCard or VISA billing information for this amount*
2. A copy of your architectural license or diploma from a foreign jurisdiction

*15 for 12 rate good for new International Associate members with a join date of October 1 through Dec. 31, 2008. Full year International Associate dues (Jan.-Dec.) are currently $372.00 for second year members and $401.00 for the third year & thereafter. Continuing education activity of 18 hours/year, of which 8 must be Health Safety and Welfare related, is not required for Associate members, though we encourage you to take part in as many programs as you have time and interest for.

**Architect and Associate members who work for a college or university are eligible to take ½ off the local (AIA/LA) portion of your dues. Please see the associate educator application to calculate the correct local dues for educators. National and State dues remain unchanged.
