3rd Annual Restaurant Design Awards

A panel of distinguished jurors, composed of Ann Gray, FAIA (FORM Magazine); Hillary Jaye (Sussman/Prejza & Company, Inc.); Josh Schweitzer (Schweitzer BIM); and Nancy Silverton (founder, La Brea Bakery/co-founder, Mozza) convened on October 1, 2007 to review this year’s entries and designate projects for recognition.

Fourteen projects were selected as finalists for this year’s competition: 6 in the Restaurant Category, 6 in the Café/Bar Category, and 2 in the Lounge/Nightclub Category. The Jury Awards will be announced at the Restaurant Design Awards Ceremony on October 25th at Poliform. In the meantime,

The Jury’s top selections in each category are listed below and we invite everyone to vote for your favorite architecturally-designed restaurant, cafe/bar, and lounge/nightclub. The highest recipient of votes in each category will be announced at the Awards Ceremony and declared the winner of the 2007 AIA|LA People’s Choice Award!
